Post-pacement adoption requirements in Russia

Children adopted from Russia must be registered with the Russian Consulate within three months following the adoption. Or you can register your child with the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow before leaving Moscow.

Two post-placement reports must be provided for the first year and one report per year for the second and third years. Post-placement reports must be prepared by licensed social workers. You should submit post-placement reports with a copy of the social worker's license. You adoption agency should help you with this.
